I would make the argument that Cane's is better than KFC but not Popeyes

    - Can be a long wait depending on when you come but once you order food is ready ~2mins
    - Staff is nice
    - Cheap

For a quick lunch this place will do.  I'm going to use quick here loosely.

The menu is simple here.  Chicken fingers, fries, Cole slaw, and Texas toast, that's it, there is no need to think about what you want.  They already have that figured out for you.  The only thing you have to think about is how many chicken fingers you want.  Three, four, six or if you want, get the kid's meal, they only have two.

The thing with this particular location is that it can take forever for you food to be prepared.  Yes, it's not complicated food to prepare, but I think, and many may agree, that because of the simplicity of the menu, people flock here with the same hopes as me.  To get a quick meal.  Because of that, orders can back up quickly especially say around the lunchtime hour.

As for the food, it hit the spot.  Would I continuously come back here if I was in the area.  No.  It might be a few weeks, maybe even months, before I stopped back.  The coating was OK, not too greasy, maybe could have done with a little more seasoning.  The Cole slaw was what you would expect from a fast food chain.  Texas toast wasn't very toasty.  The fries were decent, but nothing to write home about.  The dipping sauces were nonexistent.  I wasn't even asked whether or not I wanted any and when I made mention of it I was ignored.

I always have to go to Raising Cane's whenever I am visiting NOLA. The chicken tenders are always hot and fresh. The fries are always hot as well. I always get the 3 or 4 chicken tender combo box. If I lived in NOLA I would probably go there too much so it's best I only get to have it every once in a while. Lol I would definitely come back again!

    Pretty straight forward.

Chicken fingers, fries cole slaw and some Texas toast. It's simple and good.

The sauce definitely makes it. Remember to get some sweet tea to wash it down.

You have to come to raising cane's when visiting New Orleans. We went with the most popular item, the Box. It comes with a drink, for chicken tenders, fries, Texas toast, and coleslaw. Also in the Box is a side of canes sauce. Trust me you don't need any other dip for your chicken. Everything seemed like it was freshly cooked to order and everything taste great. The only great was the chicken tenders were kind of small. The employees were nice and there were free refills on the drinks. Definitely worth a visit.
